New Modern Warfare 3 leaks have surfaced, giving players a peek at what’s in store for the next premium CoD title of 2023.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the current ongoing title. The game came out in 2022 as a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare. The game shares most of its core mechanics with its predecessor.
Previously, Activision was positive that they would move back to a 2-year CoD cycle with the release of MW2. However, following a few issues, Activision announced that they would not stick with the 2-year cycle and will release MW3 in 2023, which will be developed by Sledgehammer Games.
Unlike MW2, Activision has not shared anything related to MW3, even in mid-July. However, leakers and data miners have started to find in-game images that look at what’s in store for the 2023 premium title.

Modern Warfare 3 (2023) Leaks
Call of Duty, leaker BobNetworkUK, is the first person to share a look at the new Modern Warfare 3. The leaker posted screenshots that showed the new gameplay items, such as the new weapons, gear system, and a brief in-game look at Makarov. However, the posts have been taken down under DMCA grounds, solidifying the credibility of the leaks.
Another prominent leaker, Hope, summarized everything new to Modern Warfare 3 in his most recent tweet.
Gear System
The gear system might sound confusing for many players as it might be an active replacement for the perk system. Players will now equip gloves, vests, helmets, and boots representing different perks. The gears will provide the effects the perks were providing.
Classic Minimap is Back Again
The classic minimap is back again with Modern Warfare 3. The classic minimap is one of the most beloved features of Call of Duty, which allows players to see a red dot on the map whenever an unsilenced weapon is fired. The classic minimap has been missing for almost 5 years now.

Ninja Perk is making a Glorious Return
Ninja perk has been one of the most requested perks in the community. However, Infinity Ward was not keen on adding the perk to MW2, leaving many players unhappy. Surprisingly, Sledgehammer Games are reportedly adding a Ninja perk to Modern Warfare 3. Adding this perk will surely be a huge plus point during the game’s life cycle.

Stay frosty and buckle up as more intel on Modern Warfare 3 is on the way, as the game’s release is just months away.
