Gunfight is coming back to MW2 with the Season 3 update. The most awaited game has been one of the most demanded ones since the game’s launch.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) is one of the most successful CoD titles of all time. The game rebooted the MW universe with the same characters. Furthermore, the multiplayer brought back many old maps with new game modes such as Cranked and Gunfight.
Out of all the game modes in MW (2019), Gunfight gained massive popularity. The game mode was first shown in the game’s open alpha testing and later in the open beta. Players were immediately hooked to the game mode.
Later, the devs introduced Gunfight tournaments where players could unlock new blueprints and rewards by competing against other teams. However, since the release of MW2, the game mode has been missing from the multiplayer roster. So, in the latest season 3 trailer, IW shared their first peek at Gunfight game mode.

What is Gunfight?
Gunfight is a 2v2 game mode that takes place on a small map similar to Gulag. Players can queue up for the game mode with a duo or solo. The game mode is fast-paced, with no perks or other in-game items.

The players are given random guns each round combined with random tactical and lethal. Both teams are put on a level playing field in a 90-second match. The first team to get five rounds wins the game.
