Is your game showing an error code #x41? Don’t worry as we explain why it occurs and how it can be fixed.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the most anticipated sequel of MW (2019). The game is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. It was built on the new and improved IW engine, previously used for MW (2019) and Vanguard (2021).

Although the IW engine is remarkably optimized, it has its share of problems. One of the most persistent problems is the client-side and GPU-related issues that pop up after every major driver update. A new “#x41” error has been bothering players for the past few days.

What is Error #x41?

The error #x41 might sound like a hardware-related problem. However, it is a client-side and GPU driver-rooted problem. NVIDIA’s past few drivers have been causing many in-game problems, including stutters and crashes. Furthermore, corrupt game files from the latest Season 2 patch might also cause the problem.
