The Call of Duty community is always excited about new weapon releases. And to everyone’s surprise, Infinity Ward is adding another new weapon to MW2 and Warzone 2.0’s weapon pool. A new MX Guardian Shotgun will arrive on Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 with the Season 4 Reloaded update.
If pump and double-action Shotguns are designed for greater range and accuracy, the full-auto MX Guardian is here to dish out damage up close. Players who challenge the MX Guardian within its effective range without taking cover should think twice. Countering this new shotgun means getting out of its effective range or going full fisticuffs with a Riot Shield or Melee weapon.

How to Unlock the MX Guardian Shotgun

MX Guardian Shotgun Release Date
According to Infinity Ward, the MX Guardian Shotgun is available in-game for players, with the Season 4 Reloaded update coming out on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET/4 pm UK.
