LPL games have been postponed due to the extreme weather conditions in Shanghai due to Typhoon Fireworks

The postponement occurred earlier today when the LPL announced quickly about the issue. Most viewers were highly anticipating the showdown between IG and TES but that is set to occur at a later date now.
Not only that, but the English broadcast team also had difficulties with streaming and was only available on Youtube. Furthermore, the games were delayed on stream as well.
A few minutes earlier, the rescheduled dates were announced for IG vs TES along with tomorrow’s games as they were also set to be in Shanghai. Firstly, IG vs TES has been rescheduled to July 27th, 2 pm GMT +8. Also, TT vs UP has been postponed to August 8th, 2 pm GMT+8. Lastly, RNG vs RA has been delayed to July 31st, 2 pm GMT+8.
With that said, credit to the LPL to react as fast as they could given the circumstances and ensuring that the fans, players, and staff were safe. Also, credit to the organizers for a quick resolution so that fans would be informed of the postponement and mark their calendars for these games. LPL will continue from Tuesday with SN vs V5 as the first game.
