Riot has finally revealed the World Championship skin for 2024, Worlds 2024 Viego.
League of Legends Worlds Championship is the most anticipated event in all of League of Legends. In this event, the best League players from all around the world compete against each other to earn the title of the best League of Legends team in the world.
Usually around this period, Riot releases many esports-related goodies and cosmetics in the game. These include the winning team’s skin from the previous Worlds, new emotes, ward skins, etc. Additionally, right before the tournament starts they also release a Worlds skin.
The tradition of Worlds Skin started in 2012 with the release of Championship Riven. Afterward, we saw a lot of skins under the Championship title. But in 2021 with the release of Worlds 2021 Jarvan IV, they changed the skin line name from Championship to Worlds.
Last year we saw the release of Worlds 2023 Renekton. And this year Viego comes in with his own Worlds skin, Worlds 2024 Viego.
This new Worlds Viego skin looks very similar to one of his previous skins EDG Viego. Especially the VFX is very similar. But what makes it unique is the SFX and the model. Overall the newer Viego skin is top-of-the-line and even better than the EDG skin. Even the VFX feels more majestic and royal. This point does explain his tuxedo suit. Either way, this skin is a worthy pickup if you are a Viego main.

Worlds 2024 Viego Release Date
Worlds Viego skin will be released in League of Legends on patch 14.19, scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
