At last, new information has come about Skarner’s Release Date in League of Legends.
It has been a long time since Riot took the first steps to rework what the scorpion Skarner can do in League of Legends. After many other champion releases and the likes, Riot had to go back to the drawing board to reinvent Skarner. His old kit had much to be desired, and this was the right move.
However, it took a while for Riot to get it together as multiple delays occurred in the journey for this VGU. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel as Riot is unveiling Skarner soon in League of Legends. Here are all the details we know so far.

Skarner Kit Details
Based on League of Leaks on X, we got a sneak peek of what Skarner will look like.
In the video, you can see many of Skarner’s abilities in action. While we do not know the descriptions of said abilities, they look pretty simple so far. These are the abilities based on the video.
- A channelling area ability that taunts/pulls enemies towards you.
- An empowering type of ability that makes the next two auto attacks stronger.
- Rock throwing at enemies that cause splash damage as well.
- Burrowing through terrain and pushing enemies into a wall or other terrain (possible Ultimate)
There were also details and looks into some of his skin and how they will look. However, they are prototypes so take it with a grain of salt.
Thus, these are some of the stuff we know, and we will know more on March 19, when Skarner hits PBE.
Skarner Release Date
Riot is set to release Skarner in Patch 14.7 on April 3, 2024, and we will get our hands on Skarner on PBE two weeks earlier than that timeline.
