Preseason 2024

In terms of official news, Riot Reav3 and Riot Meddler talked about the Preseason 2024 changes. Riot Reav3 just simply said, “We going big”.

Meanwhile, Riot Meddler talked about the next dev update having a bit of preseason talk as well. Also, Riot wants to make changes that are more systematic and changes for the future rather than the short term.

So let’s start with speculation about what sort of changes could be coming to League of Legends soon.

Items Reworks

In a previous Dev Update in June, Riot talked about more Item reworks and changes coming in the Preseason. However, they did not provide a lot of details on the matter.

Map Changes

In the Quick Gameplay Thoughts of Patch 13.10, there was mention of changes like some map adjustments and such. A lot of it might be to deal with early aggression like Riot has tried to with many balance changes.

Changes to the map would shift the power balance, so it will be interesting to see how that goes.

New Drake

We could get the Ice Drake in League of Legends PC as well, just like Wild Rift. If it is received well in Wild Rift, Riot Meddler said it is possible that it also comes to PC. Although we are not sure if they will do it this preseason, it remains a possibility.

In Conclusion

That’s all we know so far. We will be updating this article as we go in order to keep everyone informed on more things.
