New leaks reveal the next champion to receive an ASU after LeBlanc.
League of Legends has been constantly evolving since its inception back in 2008. With over 150 champions, updates to the map, and improvements to graphics, the game has come a long way. However, one side effect of such rapid evolution is that the early champions often feel outdated in terms of looks and gameplay, compared to modern champions.
Take Cho’Gath, for example. Compared to newer champions like K’Sante, he feels outdated in terms of both gameplay and visuals. Thus to keep older champions more in line with newer ones, Riot frequently updates or reworks these champions. These reworks modernize older champions and breathe new life into them.
In recent years, we’ve seen quite a lot of reworks. Viktor recently received both a visual and gameplay update, and Riot has already announced that LeBlanc will be getting a rework soon. In addition, leaks and rumors suggest that more reworks are coming after the LeBlanc.

Upcoming ASU Allegedly Leaked
According to the well-known League of Legends leaker Big Bad Bear, three champions from Noxus are currently in the running for the next rework.
According to one source, the next champion up for an ASU is Katarina. She received a gameplay update back in season 7, but her model is still quite outdated. So, Katarina getting an ASU is not that surprising. There are also talks about Darius getting a rework. Darius is in the same boat as Katarina: Their gameplay is still solid, but their model needs some updates.
The third champion rumored for a rework is Vladimir. His model is definitely starting to show its age, and after the recent “Bite Marks” cinematic, many players are hoping to see an update for him soon. Not only does his model need an overhaul, but his gameplay might also get a few adjustments to make him feel more in line with current champions. Of the three, Vladimir seems like the most likely candidate for a rework.
