Xin Zhao is set to receive a much-needed visual rework.

A couple of weeks ago, Riot Games launched a new side-scrolling fighting game called The Battle of Koeshin. In it, players fend off a horde of Azakanas while playing as the newly introduced marksman champion, Yunara, or the seneschal of Demacia, Xin Zhao.

However, unlike the current iteration of Xin Zhao, he looks quite different. He’s portrayed as a much younger version of himself, sporting a fresh set of attire that departs from his usual look, leading to speculation that he was going to get a visual update. Now, Riot has confirmed those rumors as Xin Zhao is getting a visual update soon.

In the latest League of Legends Dev Update, Riot announced the return of Doom Bots, the Implementation of the WASD control scheme, and the upcoming Xin Zhao visual update.

According to Riot, Xin Zhao will only be receiving a visual update and his kit will remain unchanged, as they believe his gameplay still holds up really well. Outside of his hit, all his skins will be updated with the update, including his vaulted skin. Talking about vaulted skins, they will be returning for a limited time after the release of the visual Xin Zhao update.

As for when it was going to be released, Riot did not give a concrete release date. However, leaks for the well-known League of Legends leaker Big Bad Bear, it will arrive in Act Two of Season Three.
