Patch 25.12 has arrived, and here’s everything you need to know.
With the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational arriving in less than a month, Riot is making some massive meta shifts, and it’s all arriving in Patch 25.12.
Starting with one of the biggest changes in this patch, Rammus mini-rework. As a champion, Rammus has been struggling quite a bit, especially against AP champions. Thus, Riot is making changes to his W – Defensive Ball Curl and giving it MR scaling so he can handle mages much easier. In addition, Riot is also making his Junlge clear more potent by adding bonus monster damage to his E – Frenzying Taunt.
In addition to the Rammus changes, Riot is adjusting Vi so that she is less dominant in Professional play. Furthermore, Riot is buffing champions like Lee Sin, Aatrox, Jax, and other champions in preparation for MSI. There are also some much-needed nerfs to champions such as Ahri, Azir, and Gwen arriving in this patch.

League of Legends Patch 25.12 is expected to be released on June 11, 2025.

Champion Buffs
Quite a number of champions are getting buffed in this patch.
Aatrox
Passive – Deathbringer Stance
- Heal increased to 90% of post-mitigation damage from 80%.
Aphelios
Base Stats
- Armor growth increased to 4.4 from 4.2.
- Basic attacks heal increased to 2.5% – 7.1% (based on level) from 2% – 7.1% (based on level).
- Abilities heal increased to 6.25% – 17.75% (based on level) from 5% – 17.75% (based on level).
Aurora
Base Stats
- Base Magic Resistance increased from 30 to 32
R – Between Worlds
- AP ratio increased from 60% to 70%
Bard
Base Stats
- Movement Speed increased from 330 to 335
Bel’Veth
R – Endless Banquet
- Cast range increased to 450 from 275.
Garen
E – Judgment
- Base damage reduced to 4 / 7 / 10 / 13 / 16 from 4 / 8 / 12 / 16 / 20.
- AD ratio increased to 36 / 39 / 42 / 45 / 48% AD from 36 / 38 / 40 / 42 / 44%.
Jax
Passive – Relentless Assault
- Bonus attack speed per stack increased to 3.5% – 13.5% (based on level) from 3.5% – 11% (based on level).
- Maximum bonus attack speed increased to 28% – 108% (based on level) from 28% – 88% (based on level).
- Empowered basic attack base damage increased to 80 / 140 / 200 from 75 / 130 / 185.
LeBlanc
E – Ethereal Chains
- E2 AP ratio increased from 80% to 85%
R – Mimic
- Cooldown decreased from 50/45/30 to 45/35/25
Lee Sin

- Maximum bonus movement speed increased to 16.5 / 18 / 19.5 / 21% (based on level) from 12 / 15 / 18 / 21% (based on level).
- Base damage increased to 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 from 0 / 5 / 10 / 15 / 20.
Twisted Fate

- Bonus attack speed increased from 10-50% to 15-55%

Ahri
E – Charm
- Duration decreased from 1.2-2 to 1.2-1.8
R – Spirit Rush
- Cooldown increased from 130/115/100 to 140/120/100
Azir
Base Stats
- Movement Speed decreased from 335 to 330
- Bonus AS per level decreased from 6% to 5.5%
Gwen
Base Stats
- Base health reduced to 600 from 620.
- Cooldown increased to 24 / 22.5 / 21 / 19.5 / 18 from 22 / 21 / 20 / 19 / 18.
Kalista
Base Stats
- Base health reduced to 560 from 580.
Q – Pierce
- Cooldown increased to 9 from 8.
Neeko
Q – Blooming Burst
- Initial damage decreased from 80-260 +50% AP to 60-260 + 60% AP
W – Shapesplitter
- On-hit damage was decreased from 40-180 to 30-170
Rumble
Q – Flamespitter
- Percent max health damage was decreased from 6-10% of the target’s maximum health to 6-8% of the target’s maximum health.
E – Electro Harpoon
- Slow amount decreased from 15% to 10%
Senna
Passive – Absolution
- Mist Wraith’s spawn rate on minions she kills is reduced to 10% from 14%.
Taliyah
Base Stats
- Base Magic Resistance decreased from 30 to 28
Q – Threaded Volley
- Empowered Q amplification decreased from 190% to 180%
Varus
Base Stats
- Base armor reduced to 24 from 27.
Yorick
Passive – Shepherd of Souls
- Mist Walker’s bonus attack speed changed to 8% – 80% (based on level) bonus attack speed from 100% of Yorick’s bonus attack speed.
- Base damage reduced to 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 from 30 / 55 / 80 / 105 / 130.
Champion Adjustments
Both Rammus and Vi are getting substantial changes to their kit.
Rammus
Base Stats
- Base attack damage increased to 65 from 55.
- Attack damage growth increased to 3 from 2.75.
- Base armor reduced to 35 from 40.
- Armor growth reduced to 4.5 from 5.5.
- Base attack speed increased to 0.7 from 0.656.
- New Effect: Now grants Rammus bonus AD equal to 15% bonus armor and 15% bonus magic resistance.
- Removed: No longer deals 10 (+ 10% armor) bonus magic damage on-hit, increased to 15 (+ 15% armor) during W – Defensive Ball Curl.
- Base damage increased to 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 from 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 / 200.
- Removed: No longer prevents E – Frenzying Taunt from being cast shortly after it ends.
- New Effect: While active, enemies that use a basic attack on-hit against Rammus are dealt 15 (+ 10% total armor) (+ 10% total magic resistance) magic damage.
- Old Effect: While active, enemies that use a basic attack on-hit against Rammus are dealt magic damage equal to Spiked Shell’s bonus damage.
- Base bonus armor reduced to 25 from 40.
- Bonus armor armor ratio reduced to 35 / 42.5 / 50 / 57.5 / 65% bonus armor from 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 / 75%.
- Base bonus magic resistance increased to 25 from 10.
- Bonus armor magic resistance ratio increased to 35 / 42.5 / 50 / 57.5 / 65% bonus magic resistance from 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50%.
- Duration increased to 7 seconds from 6.
- Removed: Basic attacks no longer extend W – Defensive Ball Curl duration by 0.4 seconds, up to a maximum of 4 additional seconds.
- New Effect: Now deals 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 / 160 (+ 70% AP) magic damage to monsters.
- Removed: No longer grants 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40% bonus attack speed for 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.6 / 1.8 / 2 seconds.
- Removed: The duration of the bonus attack speed no longer continuously refreshes during Powerball, Defensive Ball Curl, and Soaring Slam.
R – Soaring Slam
- Removed: The impact causes 3 aftershocks to burst from the area over 3.5 seconds, each one dealing 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 (+ 10% AP) magic damage to enemies within and applying the initial slow, which stacks up to 4 times.
- Removed: Epicenter no longer deals 50% increased damage.
- Base damage increased to 150 / 250 / 350 from 100 / 175 / 250.
- Slow increased to 30 / 45 / 60% from 15 / 17.5 / 20%.
- Cooldown changed to 120 / 100 / 80 seconds from 90 at all ranks.
Vi
Passive – Denting Blows
- Base damage reduced to 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8% of the target’s maximum health from 4 to 10%.
- Bonus AD ratio increased to 3.5% bonus AD from 「 1% per 35 」
- Bonus attack speed reduced to 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% from 30 / 37.5 / 45 / 52.5 / 60%.
- Base damage increased to 10 / 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 from 0 / 15 / 30 / 45 / 60.
- AD ratio reduced to 110% AD from 120% AD.
Patch 25.12 System Changes
System Adjustments
Grasp of the Undying is getting some massive changes.
Grasp of the Undying
- Damage reduction on ranged champions has been reduced to 50% from 60%.
- Health ratio on damage for ranged champions increased to 1.75% of maximum health from 2.1%.
- Healing reduction on ranged champions has been reduced to 50% from 60%.
- Health ratio on heal for ranged champions increased to 0.65% of maximum health from 0.78%.
- Permanent health on ranged champion reduction reduced to 50% from 60%.
- Permanent health gained for ranged champions increased to 2.5 from 3.
Patch 25.12 Skins
The Hall of Legends skinline is returning in this patch. Similar to last year’s Hall of Legends, we are getting three new Transcendent skins and a new Mythic skin. The three new skins are for Kai’Sa, and the final Mythic skin is for Vayne.
In addition, the Inkshadow skin line will be making a return as well. There will be four new skins, and they are for the champions: Lee Sin, Nilah, Pyke, and Renekton.
