A new cosmetic named Nexus Finishers will be added to League of Legends.
Cosmetics are a big part of the League of Legends experience. There are thousands of cosmetic items in the game and every two weeks Riot adds even more to the game. These cosmetics come in the form of Skins, Emotes, Icons, Borders, etc.
That said, most of the cosmetics in the game are skins for champions. But it seems Riot is looking to diversify their cosmetic selection. Thus, Riot is adding a new kind of cosmetic to League of Legends and it’s called Nexus Finishers.
They recently revealed the new cosmetic in their latest Dev Blog. In it, Riot revealed the upcoming skin tier, Exalted Skins, updated Mythic Shop, and the Nexus Finishers.
In this article, we will mainly focus on the Nexus Finishers, how they function, how much they cost, and much more.

Nexus Finishers
Nexus Finishers were first data mined from the PBE League of Legends content creator Skin Spotlights a few days ago. Although we didn’t know much about it at the time, we now know a little more thanks to its reveal.
As for what they are, the name says it all. These are custom finisher animations for the Nexus explosion. Think of it like Teamfight Tactic’s Finisher Animations, Nexus Finishers function similarly to those. However, unlike Teamfight Tactic it will occur once every game because you can only destroy Nexus once per game, duh.
These Finishers will be available to purchase from the updated Mythic Shop. As for their price, it will be 250 Mythic Essence, so they are quite expensive. Also, their release date has not yet been revealed, but it is expected to be released sometime around November. So Patch 14.22 or 14.23 would be the best guess.
