Infinity Ward has announced that Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 season 2 have been delayed by two weeks.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has had a successful launch compared to the previous two games. On top of its success, MW2 has also welcomed the sequel of Warzone 1. Warzone 2.0 has also been successful worldwide, just like its base game.
While Season 1 is ongoing, it is scheduled to end on February 2, 2023. However, Infinity Ward has announced that Warzone 2.0 and MW2’s Season 2 have been delayed by two weeks. This is bad news for most players in the community because MW2 and Warzone 2.0 are facing massive player decline.

Warzone 2.0 and MW2 Season 2 Delayed
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 have been facing player decline due to the absence of new content, maps and many gameplay issues. While players expected the devs to be vocal with their community, it has been complete silence since Season 1 Reloaded.
As data miners have suggested that Season 2 has been delayed by two weeks, it was confirmed later on by Infinity Ward’s latest Tweet. Infinity Ward finally broke their silence and announced that Season 2 would arrive on February 15, 2023, a two-week delay from the initial release date.
While the two-week delay has received a mixed reaction from the community, most content creators and players hope that the delayed update is heavily focused on a movement overhaul and other community feedback that has been dished out since the open beta.
Infinity Ward has also quote retweeted the initial tweet mentioning the changes they will make to the gulag, looting and loadouts.
We will be sure to focus on the upcoming changes and how they will affect the current situation of Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2.
