Riot Games have revealed that the whole B area of the Pearl map will receive severe modifications in the upcoming 6.11 patch.

Pearl was added to the VALORANT map pool in the 5.00 patch. It is the first map that is located on Omega Earth. It is also an underwater map situated in Lisbon, Portugal. Pearl has an interesting design with two sites and three lanes, following a traditional map layout.

However, since the map’s launch, Pearl has received quite a criticism for its lousy map design, especially the B site, highly favoring the Attackers while pushing or during after-plant situations.

So, in the upcoming 6.11 patch, Riot Games will give the B site of Pearl a new look by making some moderate but essential changes. The first modification will be made to the B upper ramp, which will force Attackers to use more utilities than they previously did in to get into a better position.

The corner of the B upper ramp will also be removed. It will give Defenders one less angle to worry about as they retake B site and defuse the Spike. The B Hall and B Tower Pillar will also receive some changes so the Defenders can have more room to play with. Not to mention, Riot Games is adding a small box behind the A screen, allowing Defenders to hold B long. So, without further ado, let’s see all the B changes coming to Pearl in the 6.11 update.
