How To Find Rough Amber
Best Place To Mine Rough Amber
In our experience, we found that the best place to look for Rough Amber is in the Desert “Dry Valley” Biome. But unfortunately, there isn’t a specific way you can find such valleys as each LEGO Fortnite world is procedurally generated and is completely different from the other.
Basically, what you’re looking for is a Desert Biome with large rocks and high cliffs. Also, the area is filled with cacti. One way is to build or climb onto a high surface and look for the biome from there. Once you do locate the biome head on over.
Rough Ember, or the shiny golden rocks can be found at the top of the rocky cliffs. So build stairs and stair up the cliff. One thing to note is that you can only mine Rough Amber with an Uncommon Pickaxe or a better one.
How To Get Cut Amber From Rough Amber
You need to craft yourself a Gem Cutter machine if you want to convert your Rough Amber to Cut Amber. In order to craft the Gem Cutter Machine, you need the following materials:
- 20 Marble Slabs (Obtainable from marbles found in caves)
- 5 Rough Ambers
- 5 Sand Claws (Obtainable by taking down wolves in deserts)
- 3 Sand Shells (Obtainable by taking down rollers in deserts)
Once you craft yourself a Gem Cutter, feed it the Rough Amber you found to get Cut Amber at a rate of 1:1 in LEGO Fortnite.
And there you have it! You can now use the Cut Amber to upgrade your village and craft rare axes.
