Error Code 60 refers to PatchInitFailure. To be more precise, it occurs mainly when VALORANT client faces trouble while communicating with the game servers or if the client becomes unresponsive due to a faulty start or slow internet connection.

How to Fix (A complete step-by-step guide)

In most cases, restarting the VALORANT client will solve Error Code 60.

Here is a step-by-step guide:

  1. Close VALORANT.
  2. Close the Riot client.
  3. Open task manager (Ctrl+shift+Esc)
  4. Click “More details.
  5. From there, check if VALORANT or the Riot client is still running.
  6. If they are, simply select them and hit “End Task.” (Make sure not to close Vanguard)
  7. Now restart the client and log into the game.
