How to Fix Game Login Failed Error LE:13?

Today, I will discuss a few methods to fix the error.

1. Check Server Status

First, you need to know whether the server is down or not.

Go to: https://tfd.nexon.com/en/news/2595703

Or, check: https://x.com/FirstDescendant

If the server is down, you will see a note or status update from the developers on those links. If you find that the server is down, under maintenance, or experiencing an outage, please wait until the game developers fix the server or complete the maintenance.

2. Check Internet Connection

If you find that the server is okay, but you still can’t log in, the first thing you should do is check your internet connection.

You can go to: fast.com, or GFiber to check your internet.

Additionally, you can simply restart your Wi-Fi router and see if you are still getting the error.

3. Create Account and Try

This fix is only for players who are currently playing the game as guests. I highly encourage you to create an account and try to log in again.

Sometimes, the game logs you out while you are playing as a guest. Additionally, it is possible that the game cannot connect to your Steam account for some reason. Therefore, please create an account with The First Descendant.

It’s really simple to Link/Delink your steam account.

  • First, go to nexon.com and log in to your account.
  • Click on the nexon tag, top right corner of your screen.
  • Now, Account Settings > Linked Account > LINK/DELINK ACCOUNT
  • Once done, go back and Link your steam account again, and try to log in to the game.

5. Restart The Game Completely

In this step, you need to try the ultimate fix: restarting the game. Open the Task Manager and close the game from there. Then, restart your PC if necessary and try to log in to the game again.

6. Clear DNS Cache

You can flush your DNS to fix the issue. It’s really complicated, so follow my lead.

Changing your DNS is pretty simple. Here’s how:

  • Go to Windows Search, and search for Network Status.

  • When you open the Network Status window, you will find the Change adapter options.
  • After you click on that, you will see Network Connections window. Now, navigate to the Ethernet or Wi-Fi you are using. Then right-click on the connection, and hit Properties.
  • In my case, Ethernet Properties window was opened. Then search for Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and make sure the tick mark is there.
  • Now, click on that and go to its Properties. In the properties window, navigate to Use the following DNS server addresses.
  • Finally, change Preferred DNS server: to 8.8.8.8, and Alternate DNS server: to 8.8.4.4. Then click Okay to save and apply the changes.

Then restart your PC and try again with the new DNS.

8. Use VPN/ Close VPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) allows you to change your internet network to another virtual private place. It’s a double-edged sword. Sometimes it may help you fix the issue; oftentimes it causes the issue. So, turn off the VPN or turn on the VPN to fix the game login failed error LE:13.

That’s all the methods to fix your game login failed error. However, if you still face the issue after trying all of them, reach out to the support center of The First Descendant. They will help you resolve your problem ASAP.
