Master Yi is getting a brand new skin with the Heavenscale skin line.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Riot releases new year-themed skinlines each year, and 2024 will be no different. For this year, we will be getting a brand new skin line called Heavenscale.

Like the previous Lunar New Year-themed skin line, Heavenscale will draw significantly from Eastern mythology. The skin line will depict League of Legends champions as mythical deities disguised to take part in mortal celebrations.

A total of nine new skins will be coming with the skin line. The recipients of the skins are Lee Sin, Kai’Sa, Ezreal, Smolder, Diana, Master Yi, and Janna. Lee Sin will receive a new skin variant known as Divine Heavenscale, while Ezreal will receive the Prestige skin.

In this article, we will take a look at Heavenscale Master Yi specifically and see how it fares against his other skins. So, without further ado, let’s dive into it.

As a skin, Heavenscale Master Yi is pretty decent. It has good effects and animations; His ult animation is pretty cool too. The model looks crisp as well. However, the red and white aesthetic of the skin line doesn’t really suit Master Yi. Other than that, it’s a good skin.
