Halo Studios has finally lifted the lid on the PC hardware requirements for Halo: Campaign Evolved, and PC players now have a clear idea of what they will need to run this one. The specs cover everything from a modest 1080p setup all the way up to a high-end 4K rig, so no matter what kind of machine you are sitting on, there is a tier here that tells you where you land. Here is the full rundown and what it means for your build.

Halo Campaign Evolved PC System Requirements

The studio broke the requirements down into four tiers, which is a nice touch because it gives you a much better picture than the usual minimum and recommended split. Here is the full table straight from Halo Studios.

Halo Campaign Evolved Minimum PC Requirements

If you are running on the lower end, the good news is that the minimum bar is fairly reasonable for a modern release. You are looking at an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or an Intel Core i7-10700K on the CPU side, paired with an NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super, an AMD RX 6600, or even an Intel Arc A580. That gets you 1080p at a smooth 60fps, which is exactly where most players will want to be. You will need 16GB of RAM and a card packing at least 8GB of VRAM to hit this target.

What is worth pointing out is that Intel’s Arc A580 showing up on the minimum tier is a welcome sign. It means Halo Studios is keeping budget and alternative GPU options in mind, not just the usual NVIDIA and AMD lineup.

This is where things get spicy. To hit the High tier and run the game at a full 4K and 60fps, you will want an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 or an Intel Core i7-12700K, along with an NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti or an AMD RX 9070. The RAM requirement jumps up to 32GB here, and your GPU will need 12GB of VRAM to keep up. So if 4K is your goal, you are stepping into proper high-end territory.

Halo Campaign Evolved Ultra Settings Requirements

For the players chasing the absolute best the game has to offer, the Ultra tier asks for some serious horsepower. You will need an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X or an Intel Core i9-13900K on the CPU front, and the GPU recommendation jumps to an NVIDIA RTX 4080. VRAM also climbs to a hefty 16GB at this level. Interestingly, the Ultra tier still targets 4K at 60fps rather than pushing higher frame rates, so this seems to be more about maxing out visual fidelity than chasing big frame numbers.

Storage and Operating System Requirements

No matter which tier you fall into, a few things stay the same across the board. You will need either Windows 10 22H2 64-bit or Windows 11, and Halo Studios recommends having Resizable BAR enabled for the best performance. On the storage side, the game wants an SSD with 100GB of available space. The SSD requirement is becoming standard for big releases these days, so if you are still on a hard drive, this is your nudge to upgrade.
