Mihoyo premiered the Genshin Impact v2.6 Livestream and gave out free Primogem codes for everyone.
The wait for Genshin Impact v2.6 is finally over, and we got to see what the new update will bring to the players. Highly anticipated character Kamisato Ayato is going to make an appearance for the first time, with Venti having his second rerun banner. For Phase 1, Kamisato Ayato and Venti will be the first two featured character banners after the v2.6 update goes live, followed by the Kamisato Ayaka banner in Phase 2. There will also be some new events and recurring events giving free primogems to players worldwide.
But, there is one other thing that attracts a lot of players to these Livestreams, and they are the free Promgem codes. Before every update, Mihoyo hosts these Livestreams and reveals 300 Free Primogem codes for the viewers.

Character Event Banners
Kamisato Ayato and Venti will be the first two featured character event banners when the v2.6 update goes live. Both Ayato and Venti banners will run simultaneously, and Kamisato Ayaka will be in the second phase of the update.

Quests and Events
A new Archon story quest, ‘Requiem of the Echoing Depths’, will move the main story forward with the Traveler twins and Khaenri’ah. Fan-favorite character Dainsleif will be making an appearance in the Archon quest.
The Chasm is a new area with a massive aboveground and underground space added, which will contain new quests and exploration. There will be seasonal events happening in Inazuma, and players will be able to get the 4-star hydro character Xingqiu as a reward. Many more events are to come.
For the first time in Genshin Impact, characters from all three nations will meet each other for the first time.
The debut date for 2.6, the Zephyr of the Violet Garden event, is on March 30, 2022.
