Capitano is officially confirmed (sort of) to be playable by Hoyoverse. So, when will he be available? Follow this article to find out!
Right from the release of Natlan, there have been rumors that we might not get Capitano or any new Fatui Harbingers to be playable. With Shenznaya being 1 patch away from the action many believed that rumor to be true.
We also heard rumors regarding Columbina being the playable Harbinger in Natlan and Capitano being just a character we interact with in the story. The Natlan Archon quest also provided hints that Capitano won’t back away even if he has to sacrifice himself.
With all that being said, how can I be assured that he will be playable? Well, I did claim that it is sort of officially confirmed that Capitano is playable, right?
That is because Hoyoverse just confirmed this by releasing his emoj in the latest paimon’s painting set. Only characters that become playable in the game gets their own emoj making this a passive claim from the devs that Capitano is confirmed to be playable in Genshin Impact.
Why Capitano is Confirmed?
If you take a look at all the emoj’s in Paimon’s Painting Set you will find that every character is playable in the game. So by that logic, Capitano won’t be an exception. Meaning he will become playable.
But yes, there are still quite a few questions that may linger. One of them being his height. If you look into it, he is the tallest character in the game. And Genshin Impact is known to have limited character models.
While that is true, if you look into Zenless Zero, characters like Von Lycaon are exceptions to the other character models. So, I don’t think why Hoyoverse won’t do that for Genshin and bring him in.
His body may be rotting but I am pretty sure they will find a way to make that go away. If I had to guess, much like Arlecchino, The no 1 of the Fatui will become playable around 5.5 or 5.6. So, make sure to save your primogems for him. Because we know he will be one of the strongest units in the game.
