Genshin Impact recently announced the Genius Invokation TCG USA Duel, which will see TCG enthusiasts from the USA battle it out for thousands in cash prizes.
Genshin Impact, at its core, is an action RPG game. The game was developed by HoYoverse, previously known as MiHoYo. Genshin Impact has Anime graphics with a heavy focus on elemental combat mechanics. Each character in Genshin Impact is associated with one of the seven elements, and the reactions between these elements is what is used to deal massive damage to enemies.
But after 2 years of doing the same elemental reactions, some players are a little burnt out. So back in December of 2022, during the 3.3 update, HoYoverse released the Genshin Impact card game called The Genius Invokation TCG.
In this card game, each character is a card and a very extensive battle system is implemented, making it a totally separate game from Genshin. Since its release, players have been collecting all the cards and coming up with different strategies to defeat their opponents.
And now HoYoverse wants to test out the skills of the playerbase to find out the best of the best. To accomplish this, HoYoverse is even offering thousands of USD to Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG USA players and hosting the very first tournament.

What is the Genius Invokation TCG USA Duel?
[Genius Invokation TCG USA Duel] is a Genius Invokation TC tournament held in the United States. We welcome all Travelers who enjoy playing Genius Invokation TCG to register and those selected will need to enter the tournament-exclusive Discord channel during a designated period to be included. Under the directions of the tournament organizers, the details and duels will be laid out thereafter, with the best players getting the opportunity to face each other in a live, offline match of ultimate card-game mastery!
Duration
Registration Period: April 12, 2023, 21:00 – April 23, 2023, 23:59 (UTC-7)
Online Qualifiers: May 5, 2023 – May 7, 2023
Offline Finals Broadcast: May 21, 2023 (The channels and time of the broadcast will be announced via official social media sites)
Prize Distribution
The champion will receive 2,200 USD
The runner-up will receive 1,100 USD
Third and fourth place will receive 550 USD
Fifth through eighth place will receive 150 USD
Ninth through 16th place will each receive 1,000 Primogems
17th through 32nd place will each receive 500 Primogems
Reward Delivery: Within 2 weeks after the tournament
Cash Prize Delivery: Cash prizes will be delivered on the day of the final (a consent form will be required)

Travelers who live in the USA and have a TCG Player Level of 5 or above can register.

Travelers who are interested in participating must submit their personal information before the registration deadline. Due to the limited participation slots, eligibility will be based on TC Player Level, and Travelers will be informed of the results via email. The tournament organizers reserve the Right of Final Interpretation for entry qualification.
Important Notes
- Registration Notes: Travelers must be at least 18 years old to participate in the competition. The organizers have the right to require participants to provide the relevant documents to prove their identity. Participating Travelers must consent to the official use of their provided names, pictures, logos, videos, and other information for advertising and broadcasts related to the competition.
- This tournament is only open to Travelers living in the United States. Travelers who successfully pass the qualifiers must ensure that they are in the United States during the event so that they can be contacted and participate in the following offline events. *Travelers from other regions across the globe are welcome to check out our future new updates by following Genshin Impact’s official pages, as there are more Genius Invokation TCG competitions in the works.
- Confidentiality Clauses: All Travelers who have successfully registered for this event must abide by the official confidentiality clauses and shall not disclose any information related to the competition to anyone on any platform or to anyone without authorization, otherwise, the official organizer will have the right to cancel the relevant rewards and take legal action.
- This competition will be hosted by “WePlay Esports” and broadcast under the sponsorship of Genshin Impact. All content related to the competition will only represent the views of the official organizing committee of the competition and is not related to any company or product.
- Contest Prohibitions: Cheating, harassment, posting politically-related remarks, and posting remarks that harm the reputation of Genshin Impact or HoYoverse are prohibited in this contest. Violators will be banned from the contest and will be pursued for legal responsibility.
- The tax liabilities and expenses resulting from event prizes will be borne by the winner in accordance with local laws.
