Recently Mihoyo released a lot of info related to Raiden Shogun/Baal including Talents, Story, Voice Lines, Hobbies, Least Favorite Food, and more.
Raiden Shogun is an upcoming Genshin Impact 5* character. She is a Polearm user who hails from Inazuma and is the current Almighty Narukami Ogosho. She is next in line to appear in the Event banner after Yoimiya. According to all recent info, Raiden’s banner will appear with the release of the Genshin Impact 2.1 update.
Genshin Impact players are already hyped up for the arrival of Raiden. Mihoyo ended up increasing the hype even more by releasing a character teaser video for Raiden/Baal. The character teaser gives us a glimpse into Raiden’s past and can be seen below-

Raiden Shogun Introduction:
Some of the information about Raiden is that she is a polearm user and comes from Inazuma. But a lot more new info has recently come out and is given below-
Raiden’s Constellation name is Imperatrix Umbrosa. Her English voice actress is Anne Yatco who has previously voice popular characters like Nobara Kugisaki from Jujutsu Kaisen and Six Eyes, Cosmo from “Beasters”. Raiden’s Japanese voice actress is SAWASHIRO Miyuki who voiced many beloved characters from Animes, games, and movies.
Talents:
One of Raiden’s talents is called Chakra Desiderata. When other party members excluding Raiden use their Elemetal Bursts, the Raiden will build Resolve Stacks based on the energy cost of the Elemental Bursts.
A maximum of 60 Resolve Stacks can accumulate this way and will clear 300 seconds after Raiden leaves the field. Unlocking the passive Talent “Wishes Unnumbered” will allow 2 Resolved Stacks to be gained for each elemental particle absorbed by party members.
Transcendence Baleful Omen is Raiden’s Elemental Skill. Raiden deals electro damage to nearby enemies when this skill is used. Party members will also gain the “Eye of Stormy Judgement” that attack with coordination. More details are below-
Raiden Elemental Burst is called MUSOU SHINSETSU. Raiden pulls out her sword and deals an initial AOE Electro Damage. After that, she keeps using the sword for some time in combat. The damage of the sword attacks will increase based on the number of Chakra Desiderata Resolve Stacks.
All of her attacks during this time will turn into Electro that can’t be overridden by abilities such as Bennet c6 and Chongyun Elemental Skill. She also gains increased resistance to interruption and immunity to Electro Charged reaction damage.

Story:
Raiden is the current Electro Archon residing in Inazuma and wants eternity. Anything or anyone that can bring change to this fact is not allowed by her. Her story as given in the blog post is given below-
Voice Lines:
Raiden Shogun will have the following voice lines during her time with the Traveler’s party. Some of these voice lines play after a while and some play during specific scenarios like during rain, stamina exhaustion, low health, etc.
Hobbies:
Upon being asked about her hobbies Raiden Shogun’s answer was, “Foolish question. There are only two kinds of things- those that must be done and those that must not”.
Food:
Her philosophy regarding food is also the same as hobbies. She said, “Foolish question. There are only two kinds of foods- those that must be consumed to nourish the body and those that harm it”.
