Fortnite’s recent v18.40 Nov 23 Hotfix introduces a new vote between two fan-favorite weapons and also the arrival of the Strike from the Shadows week.
Fortnite Battle Royale recently received a minor Hotfix on November 23rd. The hotfix was enabled without any downtime and added a few things to the game. Most noticeably the Proximity Launcher Vs Flint-Knock Voting and the Strike from the Shadows week, where being stealthy as a Ninja will be one of the rewarding playstyles.

Proximity Grenade Launcher Vs Flint-Knock Pistol:
Once again, it’s time for Fortnite players to vote using their gold bars. This time, Fortnite players can vote to bring either the Proximity Grande Launcher or the Flint-Knock Pistol back to the game.

The voting between these two fan-favorite weapons is already live in-game and you can head over to donation stations found all around the map to vote for your favorite one.
“Proximity Grenade Launcher, launch grenades that go off by just being near someone. Or with the Flint-Knock Pistol, go flying back for extra evasiveness (and mobility) when you shoot it.”
The first weapon to reach 100% donation gold will be unvaulted and added in Fortnite.
Strike from the Shadows Week:
During the Strike from the Shadows Week, Paper Bomb Kunai and Shadow Stones will be abundant all around the Fortnite island. Starting from November 23, 9 AM ET until November 30, 9 AM ET.
During this week, Fortnite players can also catch an increased number of Shadow Floppers as well as find them on land. There will also be a themed punchcard during this week called the ‘Strike from the Shadows Punchcard‘.
