Fortnite recently Tweeted about Thanos on their official Twitter account. At that time we didn’t have many details about what was coming. But recently Fortnite announced the Thanos Cup where players have a chance to earn the Thanos skin for free.

Thanos Item Shop Release Date:
The Thanos Skin and Bundle will come to the Fortnite item shop at 8 pm ET on June 26, 2021. But winners of the Thanos Cup will have a chance to win him early.
Fortnite Thanos Cup Details:
Date:
The Thanos Cup will be held on June 21st, 2021 on all regions. The actual timing will be displayed in-game under the compete tab.
Format:
The Fortnite Thanos Cup will be played in a Duos format and all players in the team must rank in the Open League (Division I, II, or III) or higher within Arena in their respective server region.
The event will last approximately three hours and teams will have a chance to play a maximum of 10 matches. Participating teams will earn points based on the Scoring System mentioned below. At the end of the event, the top point-earning teams in the respective server regions will be eligible for the prize.

Each Elimination: 1 Point
Prize Distribution:
The top placing teams in each region will be eligible for the Thanos cosmetics outfit and Back Bling. Also earning just 8 points in the tournament is enough to get the “Thanos Watches!” cosmetics spray.
