Fortnite Season 6 began a few days ago and players are having a blast with the new hunting and crafting mechanic. There were also a lot of new POI’s added and most of the player base is still trying to figure some of the best drops spots.
Although the crafting and hunting mechanics are the main focus of this season, we can’t deny the fact that most of the loot comes from chests. So it’s pretty much a necessity for players to find a drop spot with lots of chests and loot.
Chest spawns in different POI’s can vary a lot. There are some POI’s that have a lot of chest spawns while others can have very little. And with the spawn rate of Chests still being at 50%, having more chests in a POI can offer better chances to mitigate the nerfed chest spawn rate.
Recently the top 5 POI’s with the most amount of chest spawn rates were revealed and the list might be shocking for most.

Recently a Fortnite data miner Mikey revealed the total number of chests in Fortnite Season 6 as well as the top 5 POIs with the most number of chest spawns. According to Mikey, there are a total of 832 chests in the new Fortnite season.
Top 5 POI by Chest spawns:
Coral Castle: 46
Dirty Docks: 35
Steamy Stacks: 31
Lazy Lake: 31
Weeping Woods: 30
Coral Castle was always a neglected drop spot for most Fortnite players. The main reason is the POI being at one corner of the map which means more running from the Storm. But now we found out that it has the highest amount of chest spawns. The next POI’s in the list are not unexpected as most of them have lots of buildings and large areas.
So, hopefully, the next time you play Fortnite you should give Coral Castle a chance as it has the most chest spawns by far.
