Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Began about 2 weeks ago. The new update brought tons of new content to the game. We got the Reality Tree POI, Rave Cave, and many other things. One of the fan-favorite vehicles, Ballers, is finally back, along with three brand new weapons. But, the most essential content this season is definitely the Battle Pass.
In the Battle Pass Page 3, we have the Dragon Rune Lance Pickaxe. The Pickaxe is one of a kind because it has a very different equip and swinging animation. But, players recently found an interesting exploit when playing with it.
And finally, Epic Games decided to take action to fix this exploit.

Fortnite Dragon Rune Lance Pickaxe Disabled:
The official Fortnite Status Twitter recently announced that the Dragon Rune Lance Pickaxe was disabled. The Tweet reads,
“Due to an issue, we’ve temporarily disabled the Dragon Rune Lance Pickaxe. We’ll update you when we have more information.”
Players using the Pickaxe did not have any footstep sound, which made sneaking up easier. According to Epic Games, cosmetic items in Fortnite do not provide any competitive advantage. So, they had to disable the Pickaxe and fix it.
