As 2025 is right around the corner, here’s everything that is coming out in Wild Rift patch 6.0.

This year was one of the most interesting for Wild Rift. We received a lot of unique content that was not even seen in League of Legends PC.

Firstly, earlier this year, they moved their main office to China, which resulted in many new additions to the game. Some notable changes include the addition of T-Hex and the Hextech theme on Summoner’s Rift, the addition of unique augments in various game modes, new items, new and reworked champions, etc.

That said, this year was one of the greatest years for Wild Rift in terms of content, and next year will be similar. In PC League of Legends, they announced that from next year, each season will feature a unique theme. Similar will happen to have a unique theme as well.

Recently, Riot Games has announced everything that would be coming out on Wild Rift patch 6.0: Yordle Up! Here’s everything you have to know about it.

League of Legends Wild Rift – Patch 6.0: Yordle Up!

Bandle City Themed Summoner’s Rift

Just like we are getting a Noxus-themed Summoner’s Rift in League of Legends PC, we are getting a Bandle City-themed Summoner’s Rift in Wild Rift. That includes new models for the turrets, minions, monsters, etc.

Wild Rift Patch 6.0: New Champions

This patch includes 3 new champions. They are,

  • Rumble
  • Gnar
  • Poppy

Rumble

Rumble is one of the most unique characters in League of Legends. He uses neither energy nor mana for his meter. He has his own resource called Heat. The more ability he uses, the more heat he generates. Once he reaches a certain heat point, his abilities become empowered. However, when the heat reaches full, his abilities become disabled for a short period while the heat decreases.

Besides that mechanic, in the right hands, he is a very strong AP baron laner. With him on the roster, it will be a very interesting meta.

Gnar

Similar to Rumble, Gnar is also a baron laner with a unique mechanic. He also has a unique resource called Rage. By dealing or receiving damage, he increases his rage meter. And once the meter is full, he can swap into a new form called Mega Gnar, with some new set of abilities.

Mini-Gnar and Mega-Gnar have their own set of strengths and weaknesses. Mini-Gnar mostly focuses on mobility and poke, while Mega-Gnar mostly focuses on CC, damage, and sustain. However, Mini-Gnar doesn’t have any proper sustain, and Mega-Gnar is time-gated cause of his rage meter. But he is still one of the most unique characters in the game and will become a fan-favorite in Wild Rift.

Poppy

Poppy is also one of the upcoming characters in patch 6.0. And unlike the other two, she is quite simple. She mostly focuses on disrupting enemies while tanking as much as possible. She has some of the best CC in the game. As for her lane, she can be played in both the baron lane and jungle.

Epic Monster Changes

Rift Herald

Rift Herald is also getting a Bandle City makeover. First, when you encounter them, you will see three instruments. And when you start the fight, they combine together to form the Rift Herald. Then the fight proceeds as usual.

The main part that was changed was, when summoning the Rift Herald in a lane when it impacts with a turret, it splits again and turns back into the instruments again.

Baron Nashor

Baron Nashor also got a Yordle upgrade. Now, whenever he hits an enemy, the units will turn into instruments. Additionally, slaying the Baron will also grant nearby minions a new buff. That buff is healing nearby units and minions.

Jungle Changes

The red and blue buffs now have a third phase similar to League of Legends PC. During it third phase, if you kill the buffs, now your entire team will get the buff as well.

Mechanic Changes

Fountain Mushrooms

During the match, Mushrooms will spawn around the turrets. Picking them up will grant you gold. The value is 2 gold per mushroom. Once you have enough of them, they make up for lost CS.

Enchanted Gates

Similar to Hexgates, a new type of gate will spawn in Summoner’s Rift. Though it is not dependent on the dragon. During random intervals, Enchanted Gates will spawn in a similar spot as the Hexgates, and they work the same way. However, unlike Hexgates, they are not permanent. They will disappear once their time is up. So use it while you can.

Best Partner

Best Partner is a new passive given to the support and the bot-laner, or whoever the support is sharing the most amount of gold with. Out of combat, both will get a movement speed. Additionally, when both are moving towards each other, they get even more bonus movement speed.

New Spell: Cleanse

Cleanse is the newest spell in Wild Rift. It negates and removes all CC, except airborne from your character. It is a situational spell, that is a must-have against a full CC team.
