We are finally getting some much needed buffs regarding certain obscure elemental reactions. Follow this guide to learn about the details!

Now that version 5.1 is officially available, leaks and suggestions regarding Genshin Impact 5.2 is coming in like wildfire. While almost everything should be taken with large grains of salt as this isn’t confirmed by Hoyoverse yet, some reliable sources claim that we are getting reaction buffs in the next patch of Genshin.

The reactions that are supposedly getting buffed in version 5.2 are: Superconduct, Shatter, Electro Charged and Overload. This will apply for both your characters and enemies. Meaning you will do increased damage when you trigger these reactions. But it is also true if your opponents trigger them and you will take extra damage.

Genshin Impact 5.2 Reaction Changes Details:

Superconduct

When Electro meets Cryo or vice versa we get Superconduct reactions in the game. From Genshin Impact 5.2, when you trigger Superconduct the damage multiplier will be 1.5 for 5 meters and will decrease the physical resistance of enemies by 40% for 12 seconds.

Previously the damage multiplier was 0.5. So, we will be getting a 200% damage increase from superconduct reactions.

Shatter

When Geo attacks hits a frozen enemy we get shatter reaction. Very few teams can use this reaction so it has been almost forgotten by majority of players. Previously the damage multiplier was 1.5 but now it has been doubled and have become 3.0. Meaning we will get a 100% damage increase from Shatter reactions.

Electro Charged

While Electro Charged is quite common among players, most don’t use it frequently. But now the damage multiplier have been increased from 1.2 to 2.0. This is quite the jump but not as quite as big as the other two upgrades.

Overloaded

As for Overloaded, this reaction didn’t get a massive jump like the others but the damage multiplier is increased from 2 to 2.75. Do keep in mind that overloaded reaction is already quite strong in the game. Especially if you are a C6 Cheveruse on your team.

My Honest Opinion on the Buffs

I personally think that these buffs are indications of upcoming characters in Genshin Impact. We were also quite due for some changes in the elemental reactions anyway. As there are two Cryo based buffs I am thinking maybe we are finally getting Wriothesly rerun. He can fit in the Shatter reaction perfectly.

Superconduct can be return of Eula in the game. Ororon can also benefit from it. The same goes for Overloaded and Electro Charged reactions. And let’s not forget Mavuika joining the ranks soon. If you believe the leaks then you know she is going to be the best Pyro character till date.

So, overall, Genshin Impact 5.2 seems like to be a very exciting patch that I just can’t wait to get my hands on!!!
