- AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 support has been added for compatible Radeon GPUs
Crimson Desert Trading System Receives Major Improvements
Trading is the main focus of Crimson Desert Patch 1.16.00. Pearl Abyss has added 133 new trading posts, including a merchant at the Pailune Trading Post. More trading locations will also become available as players progress through related quests.

The types and quantities of items sold at trading posts have been adjusted, while difficult-to-reach locations can now offer higher profits. Prices will also change when players sell too many of the same trade good at one location, encouraging merchants to travel between different regions.
Overall trading profits have been increased, and the prices of goods sold at royal trading posts have been quadrupled. Wagons will also remain available after delivering goods to a royal trading post instead of disappearing.
New Trade Goods and Improved Inventory Management
Patch 1.16.00 introduces 24 new high-value trade goods and four regular trade goods. Packaged goods can now stack up to 10 or 100 units depending on their value, while unpackaged trading items can stack up to five or 50 units in each inventory slot.

Players can now sell a single trade good rather than needing a larger quantity. Goods can also be transferred directly between horses and wagons, making it easier to reorganize cargo during long trading journeys.
However, players will lose more goods when retrieving a horse or wagon or when destroying a wagon, adding an extra risk to poorly planned trading routes.
Seven New Wagon Workshops Added Across Pywel
Seven wagon workshops have been added in Hernand, Demeniss, Delesyia, Pailune, Tommaso, Urdavah, and Varnia.

These workshops act as intermediate trading locations where players can package and load goods. Wagon routes are now displayed on the minimap while travelling, which should make navigating between trading destinations considerably easier.
A new Trade tab has also been added to the world map. Players can use it to locate trading posts, royal trading posts, wagon workshops, and wagon routes. Filters can help identify merchants selling specific items, while trading post details display current market prices and available quantities.
Banking System Adds Investments and a Bond Shop

The banking system has also received several changes. The maximum number of gold bars gained or lost through bank interest has been adjusted to 40.
Players who deposit at least 10 bonds can now begin investing through the new Claim Bank Strongbox feature. Bonds can be exchanged for 10 Gold Bars or spent at the newly added Bond Shop, which offers rare items.
Quest and Progression Bug Fixes
The patch resolves several issues that could prevent players from completing challenges or advancing quests. Fixes have been applied to Back Alley Cleanup, Shield of Unchanging Will V, Harmonious Hooves VIII, Overwhelming Slash II, Assassinate Count Byron, and several Abyss-related activities.
Pearl Abyss has also fixed missing quest-related knowledge entries, with 421 entries affected in total. Other improvements address incorrect map markers, unavailable NPCs, broken switches, blocked gates, mission progression errors, and inconsistent quest requirements.
Combat and Control Improvements
Patch 1.16.00 fixes numerous combat problems involving Kliff, Damiane, Oongka, mounts, ranged weapons, Abyss enemies, and elemental abilities.

Charged Shot can now be performed while running with a ranged weapon equipped, while transitions after using Stab with swords or daggers have been improved. Fixes have also been made for delayed elemental combos, excessive shotgun ammunition consumption, unresponsive controls, broken parries, missing damage, and abilities being used in unintended situations.
The update also addresses occasions where characters could stop running, become unable to move, or lose access to mount interactions.
AMD FSR 4.1 Support and Stability Fixes
On PC, Pearl Abyss has implemented AMD FSR SDK 2.3.0 and added support for FSR Upscaling 4.1 on AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series graphics cards. Ray Regeneration has also been updated to version 1.2.0.
The patch reduces flickering around window frames, fixes distant objects failing to appear, and addresses several visual issues affecting outfits, weapons, animations, lighting, and character models.
Crashes occurring in the map menu, during character switching, while upgrading Health, Stamina, or Spirit, and during the Forgotten General battle have also been fixed.
Crimson Desert Patch Version 1.16.00 is currently available on Steam for PC and Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store. The Mac App Store version is still in progress and will become available at a later date.
