Although Zoe was released only a few years ago, she has several skins to choose from.

Zoe, The Aspect of Twilight, released in 2017, is one of League of Legends’ more controversial champions. She is considered by many to be the original “200 years” champion before it became a meme.

During her initial release, she was pretty overturned. She had high base damage numbers and combined with her long-range kit, made Zoe frustrating to play against. Her E ability, Sleepy Trouble Bubble, was quite obnoxious as well, being able to set up traps in choke points. Finally, her Q ability, in conjunction with her E ability, would allow Zoe to one-shot almost any unsuspecting enemy. This led to quite a bit of frustration among the player base.

However, after quite a bit of community backlash, Zoe received some adjustments and is currently in a balanced spot. She is currently a solid mid-laner and an excellent champion in climbing solo-queue.

But before you start showing off your Zoe prowess, you need to pick a Zoe skin first. So, in this article, we’ll look at all her skins and decide which one is the best for you.

Best Zoe Skins

Now that we have a better understanding of the skins, we’ll rank each of the Zoe skins released in League of Legends thus far.

We will rate them by putting them from worst to best.

7. Cyber Pop Zoe

  • Release Date: November 21st, 2017
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: None

Released along with Zoe herself, Cyber Pop Zoe is her first skin.

The skin has new sound effects, a new model, new recall animations, and crisp sound effects. Cyber Pop Zoe also has additional voice lines, as most first skins go. The unique thing about this skin is that it is a direct reference to Futaba Sakura from the Persona series.

It’s a decent skin, but there are better Zoe skins out there.

6. Arcanist Zoe

  • Release Date: July 9th, 2020
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: None

Arcanist Zoe fits Zoe’s initial “Disney Character” vibe quite well, especially her splash art. As an Epic skin, the skin is not half bad. It has good animations, good sound effects, and a good model. But its prestige version is far better.

5. Prestige Arcanist Zoe

  • Release Date: July 9th, 2020
  • Price: 125 ME
  • Chroma: None

Prestige Arcanist Zoe is also an improved version of the Arcanist Zoe skin. The skin comes with new animations, color schemes, and particle effects. Unfortunately, this skin suffers the same problem most Prestige 1.0 skins do. This skin is basically a golden chroma of the base skin with some added effects.

4. Pool Party Zoe

  • Release Date: August 2nd, 2018

Pool Party Zoe, from the pool party skin-line, is a pretty solid. The skin goes very well with Zoe’s fun-loving personality. The skin has excellent spell animations. Also, her ult is a kiddy pool in this skin, and her E has a seagull flying animation around it. Pool Party Zoe has very good chromas as well.

3. EDG Zoe

EDG Zoe

  • Release Date: May 12th, 2022
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: 1

EDG Zoe has only one chroma. This is an event-only chroma and was only distributed during MSI 2022.

EDG Zoe is a skin honoring EDG Scout’s winning performance of Worlds 2021. This skin has the classic EDG aesthetic of back and silver.

The skin doesn’t go well with Zoe’s colorful personality, but the splash art, sound effects, and animations more than makeup for it. A solid skin, I must say.

2. Winterblessed Zoe

  • Release Date: May 12th, 2022
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: 9

Winterblessed Zoe currently has Nine chromas, each costing 290RP. The ruby version of the Winterblessed Zoe chroma can be obtained by purchasing the Winterblessed Zoe chroma bundle. The Wreathguard chroma is event exclusive.

Winterblessed Zoe Chroma 2

Winterblessed Zoe is the newest Zoe skin added to her skin collection. It’s from the Winterblessed skin line, and like most Winterblessed skins, it’s a very solid skin. The skin features solid SFX/ VFX. But the most impressive part about the skin is its model.

The skin probably has the most detailed model out of all of Zoe’s skins. Plus the skin has nine additional chromas.

1. Star Guardian Zoe

  • Release Date: September 12th, 2019
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: 8

Star Guardian Zoe currently has eight chromas, and each chroma costs 290RP. Like the other skins, The ruby version of the Star Guardian Zoe chroma can be obtained by purchasing the Star Guardian Zoe chroma bundle. The emerald version of the chroma can be purchased from the essence emporium.

Star Guardian Zoe is probably the best Zoe skin around. The skin is from the Star Guardian skin line and imagines Zoe as a corrupted star guardian. This is quite a departure from the fun-loving Zoe we are used to. Her new color scheme also reflects her corruption.

In terms of effects, it is very solid. Her model looks cool as well.

Overall, Riot really did a fantastic job with this skin. It even came with its own cinematic trailer and a song by Hiroyuki Sawano.
