Although Zoe was released only a few years ago, she has several skins to choose from.
Zoe, The Aspect of Twilight, released in 2017, has been one of the most controversial champions in League of Legends. And many considered her the original “200 years” champion before it became a meme.
When Zoe was released, she was pretty overturned. Her high base damage numbers and long range allowed her to pick off enemies from afar. Zoes’ E ability, Sleepy Trouble Bubble, was quite obnoxious as well, being able to set up traps in choke points. Finally, her Q ability, in conjunction with her E ability, would allow Zoe to one-shot almost any unsuspecting enemy. This led to quite a bit of frustration among the players.
But, after quite a bit of community backlash, Zoe received some nerfs and is in a balanced spot. She is currently a solid mid-laner and an excellent champion in climbing solo-queue.
Before you start spamming Zoe mid, you might wonder which is the best Zoe skin. So, let us find out which is the best Zoe skin.

Best Zoe Skins
Now we’ll rank each of the Zoe skins released in League of Legends thus far. We will rate them by putting them into tiers, from the S to the D tier, with S being the best and D being the worst. As most Zoe skins are of high quality, we will not put any of the skins in either C or D tiers.
As with any other list, this one will be highly subjective. However, this list will be ideal for newcomers and returning veterans looking for the best Zoe skins.
Tier | Skins |
S-Tier (Best) | Star Guardian Zoe, Prestige Arcanist Zoe |
A-Tier (Good) | EDG Zoe, Arcanist Zoe, Pool Party Zoe |
B-Tier (Average) | Cyber Pop Zoe |
Now that all the skins are ranked let’s discuss each skin in detail.
B-Tier (Average)
Cyber Pop Zoe
- Release Date: November 21st, 2017
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: None
Released along with Zoe herself, Cyber Pop Zoe is her first skin.
The skin has new sound effects, a new model, new recall animations, and crisp sound effects. Cyber Pop Zoe also has additional voice lines, as most first skins go. The niche thing about this skin is that it is a direct reference to Futaba Sakura from the Persona series.
It s good skin, just like other epic skin, but there are better Zoe skins out there.
A-Tier (Good)
Arcanist Zoe
- Release Date: July 9th, 2020
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: None
Arcanist Zoe fits Zoe’s initial “Disney Character” vibe quite well, especially her splash art. As an Epic skin, the skin is not half bad. It has good animations, good sound effects, and a good model. But its prestige version is far better. That is why the skin is so low on the list.
Pool Party Zoe
- Release Date: August 2nd, 2018
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: Pool Party Zoe currently has six chromas, each costing 290RP. The ruby version of the Pool Party Zoe chroma can be obtained by purchasing the Pool Party Zoe chroma bundle.
Pool Party Zoe, from the pool party skin-line, is a perfect skin. The skin goes very well with Zoe’s fun-loving personality as well. The skin has excellent spell animations, too, her ult is a kiddy pool in this skin, and her E has a seagull flying animation around it. Pool Party Zoe has very good chromas as well.
EDG Zoe
- Release Date: May 12th, 2022
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: EDG Zoe has only one chroma. This is an event-only chroma and was only distributed during MSI 2022.
EDG Zoe is a skin honoring EDG Scout’s winning performance of Worlds 2021. This skin has the classic EDG aesthetic of back and silver.
The skin doesn’t go well with Zoe’s colorful personality, but the splash art, sound effects, and animations more than make up for it. A solid skin, I must say.
S-Tier (Best)
Prestige Arcanist Zoe
- Release Date: July 9th, 2020
- Price: 125 ME
- Chroma: None
This is an excellent skin; the only reason it didn’t get the number one spot is that it doesn’t have chromas like the best skin on our list.
Prestige Arcanist Zoe is also an improved version of the Arcanist Zoe skin. The skin comes with new animations, color schemes, and particle effects. If you like the prestige aesthetic, you will definitely like the skin.
Star Guardian Zoe
- Release Date: September 12th, 2019
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: Star Guardian Zoe currently has eight chromas, and each chroma costs 290RP. Like the other skins, The ruby version of the Star Guardian Zoe chroma can be obtained by purchasing the Star Guardian Zoe chroma bundle. The emerald version of the chroma can be purchased from the essence emporium.
Star Guardian Zoe is probably the best Zoe skin around. The skin is from the Star Guardian skin line and imagines Zoe as a corrupted star guardian. This is quite a departure from the fun-loving Zoe we are used to, and the evil Zoe is quite different. Her new color scheme also reflects this fact.
Riot really did a fantastic job with this skin. It even came with its own cinematic trailer and a song by Hiroyuki Sawano.
