Though Kayle needs to hit level 16 before you can start carrying games alone, she at least has some amazing skins to look at while you wait for that sweet power spike.
Kayle, after level 16, is one of the strongest champions in League of Legends. She may start as strong as a minion, but she can carry games alone in the late game. So, against Kayle, you must close out games before she starts dominating. Or just be like Aatrox and bow down to your queen, as seen in the splash art of the new Eclipse skin line.
Making a tier list of Kayle skins was not easy at all. Most of her skins are excellent. Even if there are no new animations and effects, most Kayle skins look amazing in-game. Kayle transforms at levels 6, 11, and 16. All of her skins have greatly implemented the transformation. The level 16 models of all the skins are so good that it was hard to pick a favorite.
13. Riot Kayle
- Release Date: August 12, 2014
- Price: 975 RP (Legacy)
- Chroma: No
Among all the beautiful Kayle skins, Riot Kayle is by far the worst. There’s nothing wrong with the skin. It has new animations and effects, especially new sound effects. But compared to her other skins, Riot Kayle just feels meh.
12. Battleborn Kayle
- Release Date: April 18, 2011
- Price: 975 RP
- Chroma: No
Battleborn Kayle is an average skin and only has some new effects. The model doesn’t look that great compared to her other skins. You can get better Kayle skins for less RP than this.
11. Viridian Kayle
- Release Date: June 01, 2010
- Price: 520 RP
- Chroma: Yes (5 Different Chromas Available)
Though Viridian Kayle is in rank 9, it is still a very good skin. The leaf green color is a unique thing that this skin has. You should be able to guess how good her other skins are if Viridian Kayle is so low on the tier list. But, for a cheap skin, it is still worth it.
10. Transcended Kayle
- Release Date: July 13, 2010
- Price: 975 RP (Legacy)
- Chroma: No
Transcended Kayle is nothing special. It’s a pricy skin but has no new animations or effects. But the in-game model is still decent. She looks like the Greek Goddess of War, Athena, in this skin. Unless you like how this skin looks in-game, it’s not worth buying the skin.
9. Pentakill III: Lost Chapter Kayle
- Release Date: September 09, 2021
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: Yes (8 Different Chromas Available)
Most of Kayle’s skins are so amazing that her average tier skins will undoubtedly be on a higher tier than other champions. The new Pentakill III: Lost Chapter Kayle is undoubtedly a great skin. Her animations and effects are excellent. But in my opinion, this skin doesn’t suit the heavy metal band that is Pentakill.
8. Iron Inquisitor Kayle
- Release Date: May 04, 2016
- Price: 750 RP
- Chroma: No
750 RP skins are not that great for most champions and usually stay in the lowest tier. But Iron Inquisitor Kayle certainly changed my mindset towards this category of skins. It might not have any new animations or effects, but the character model is brilliant. She looks gorgeous in black and gold armor with red wings after transforming.
7. Pentakill Kayle
- Release Date: August 08, 2017
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: No
The original Pentakill Kayle fits the heavy metal theme more than the new one. Still, I personally like the new skin more because of how good it looks. Pentakill Kayle has new animations and effects. Even though it fits the Pentakill theme, I’m not a fan of the in-game model. And I like the new one better. But that’s just my opinion, you might see it differently, and that’s fine.
6. Sun-Eater Kayle
- Release Date: April 28, 2022
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: Yes (8 Different Chromas Available)
This is a weird one. The Sun-Eater Kayle is a long-awaited Solar Eclipse skin for the community. But it was disappointing to see an Epic tier skin and not a Legendary one, as everyone expected. She honestly looks like a boss from Elden Ring. Sun-Eater Kayle feels like a dark version of Kayle, which is something unique as most of her skins show her as an angelic figure.
5. Aether Wing Kayle
- Release Date: January 18, 2013
- Price: 1820 RP
- Chroma: No
Aether Wing Kayle is Kayle’s only Legendary skin so far. This is a fantastic skin. It was released almost ten years ago and has had some visual updates since. Aether Wing Kayle is a slick-looking futuristic Kayle skin. The new animations and effects are all excellent.
4. Silver Kayle
- Release Date: November 13, 2009
- Price: Not Available
- Chroma: No
For most champions, their oldest skins are awful. But Silver Kayle is one of the best Kayle skins in the Game. Riot gave this skin to players for buying the collector’s edition of League back in 2009, thus making Silver Kayle one of the rarest skins in League of Legends. There’s a good chance you have never seen this skin in-game. Even though it has no new animations, the skin and effects are absolutely beautiful.
3. Judgement Kayle
- Release Date: August 22, 2011
- Price: Not Available
- Chroma: No
Judgement Kayle is another super rare skin in League of Legends. It was given to players to play ten League of Legends games in season 1. Judgement Kayle has to be my favorite Kayle skin just because of the in-game model. Her pitch-black wings look excellent in-game.
2. Dragonslayer Kayle
- Release Date: April 15, 2021
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: Yes (8 Different Chromas Available)
With Dragonslayer Kayle, Riot didn’t even go for the angelic look. Instead, they straight-up gave Kayle a Dragonish look. This skin looks fantastic with its fiery orange color. The new animations and effects on Dragonslayer Kayle also look great.
1. PsyOps Kayle
- Release Date: September 17, 2020
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: Yes (8 Different Chromas Available)
PsyOps Kayle is another futuristic look for Kayle, and she looks excellent. All of her skins are so good I feel like I keep repeating myself. The effects are especially significant on PsyOps Kayle. Even at level 1, PsyOps Kayle looks badass.
