Trying to pick a skin for our favorite robot in League of Legends can be tricky as Blitzcrank has tons of good skins.
Blitzcrank is one of the most played support champions in League of Legends. Yes, you might miss some hooks, but overall, he is pretty easy to play. With Blitz, you can win games just by landing a good hook in team fights. But if you are not good at skill shots, try to avoid Blitz, as he barely offers anything other than his Q ability.
New players fear Blitzcrank as he can be oppressive in the lane and punish you hard if you misposition once. But good players can dodge or play in a way that Blitzcrank doesn’t get any chance to hook them. However, being aware of Blitzcrank’s pull all game long is challenging, and one good pull in the mid or late game can instantly guarantee a win.
Also, Blitzcrank has always been a good support pick because as long as he has his signature Q ability, changing other things about his kit doesn’t affect him much. So if you want to add Blitzcrank to your support pool, he will always serve you. So pick up some nice skins for Blitzcrank and terrorize the enemy team in style.

LoL Best Blitzcrank Skins
D-Tier (Bad)
Rusty Blitzcrank
- Release Date: November 20, 2009
- Price: 520 RP (Not Available)
- Chroma: No
Not only is Rusty Blitzcrank the worst Blitzcrank skin of all time, but it is also one of the worst skins in the game. Some skins are simply just a chroma of the classic skin. But calling Rusty Blitzcrank a chroma will be disrespectful to all the chromas. This skin is just a dark shade of his classic skin.
Goalkeeper Blitzcrank
- Release Date: June 24, 2010
- Price: 520 RP (Legacy)
- Chroma: No
Goalkeeper Blitzcrank is another paint job over the original character model. But it has a little more detail to it than Rusty Blitzcrank. So if you are in a world cup football spirit later this year, you can buy this cheap skin. Other than that, there is nothing else to say about this skin.
C-Tier (Not Recommended)
Riot Blitzcrank
- Release Date: October 21, 2013
- Price: 975 RP (Legacy)
- Chroma: No
Riot skins are rare in League of Legends. But that doesn’t mean it is a good skin. It has some animations and effects, but they are very subtle. The recall animation looks like a reference to Inspector Gadget, and for 975 RP, this skin is not that bad.
Boom Boom Blitzcrank
- Release Date: August 29, 2010
- Price: 520 RP
- Chroma: No
Boom Boom Blitzcrank is the best budget skin for him. But other than two boxing gloves and a silver color, this skin doesn’t offer anything else. This is also available to purchase anytime you want.
B-Tier (Average)
Victorious Blitzcrank
- Release Date: November 16, 2021
- Price: N/A (Rank Reward)
- Chroma: Yes (Depending on Rank)
Victorious skins are a good thing to have, but I don’t remember the last time I played with a victorious skin when I had other options available. However, Victorious Blitzcrank has some decent animations and sound effects. The skin is also very detailed.
Definitely Not Blitzcrank
- Release Date: October 19, 2011
- Price: 975 RP (Legacy)
- Chroma: No
The concept of all Definitely Not skins is fun. The character model of Definitely Not Blitzcrank looks great in-game. But other than that, this skin offers very little. There aren’t any new animations or VFX/SFX to speak of. The price is also relatively high for only a new character model.
Piltover Customs Blitzcrank
- Release Date: March 07, 2011
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: No
Piltover Customs Blitzcrank is an older skin but still very fun to play with, mainly because of the sound effects. But for the price of 1350, I expect a lot more from a skin. There are far better Blitzcrank skins for the same price. But this skin adds a nostalgic value to veteran League players that you can’t find in newer skins.
iBlitzcrank
- Release Date: March 01, 2013
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: No
iBlitzcrank was a fantastic skin when it came out almost nine years ago. But it feels kind of outdated to all the new and fancy skins. People say it’s easier to hit Q with this skin because the range can be misleading to opponents. There’s nothing wrong with the skin, but it can use a few touch-ups.
A-Tier (Good)
Lancer Rogue Blitzcrank/Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank
- Release Date: November 16, 2017
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: No
Both Lancer Rogue Blitzcrank and Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank were released simultaneously, and they are bot same quality skins. The animations are great with good VFX/SFX. It all comes down to which color you prefer most.
Battle Boss Blitzcrank
- Release Date: August 19, 2015
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: Yes (8 Different Chromas Available)
Battle Boss Blitzcrank has been one of the best Blitzcrank skins for quite some time before the newer skins came out. It is still a great skin sharing the arcade vibe with pixelated VFX. The animations and VFX/SFX are amazing. Definitely worth picking up if you are a Blitzcrank main.
S-Tier (Best)
Witch’s Brew Blitzcrank
- Release Date: October 24, 2019
- Price: 1350 RP (Legacy)
- Chroma: Yes (6 Different Chromas Available)
Now we are getting into the top 2 skins. Witch’s Brew Blitzcrank is an excellent skin with stunning animations and effects. It was a Halloween-themed skin that exceeded expectations. The fact that he is a witch’s cauldron that somehow came to life and spills the potion inside whenever he walks is fantastic.
Space Groove Blitz & Crank
- Release Date: April 01, 2021
- Price: 1820 RP
- Chroma: Yes (6 Different Chromas Available)
Space Groove Blitz & Crank is not only the best Blitzcrank skin but also one of the best skins in the game. The colorful designs, amazing animations, and VFX/SFX make playing with this skin a fun experience. Even the dance is different and hilarious. Everything about this skin is fun and definitely worth the price tag.
