According to streamer Adin Ross, the new streaming platform Kick offered iShowSpeed and Kai Cenat $40 million each, but they both rejected the offer.
Kick is a newly created streaming platform that launched in 2022. Currently, it is considered a competitive platform to Twitch. For many years, Twitch has been the only streaming platform succeeding. With a big corporation like Amazon backing it up, no one can come close to Twitch’s success.
Although YouTube is a fair competitor, its main focus is not livestreams. But some people believe that if any platform can overthrow Twitch, it’s got to be Kick. So, with this goal in mind, Kick has been offering deals to popular Twitch and YouTube streamers to make the switch to Kick.
Adin Ross, who was a very popular Twitch streamer, made the switch to Kick in April of 2023. And according to him, Kick is looking for more big-time streamers to join Kick. He said that Kick offered iShowSpeed and KaiCenat $40 million each, but they both rejected the offer.
