Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon to have will have two modes for resolution and performance for both Xbox Series X and S.
Sega has confirmed the resolution and performance of Yakuza 7 in its latest gameplay live stream. Furthermore, like most games nowadays, this title will also offer two modes for different resolution and frame rate.
On the Xbox Series X, Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon will run 4K at 30 FPS and 1440p at 60 FPS. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series S will support a high frame rate mode of 60fps at 900p and resolution of 30fps in 1440p.
The 900p resolution seems unusual especially for next-gen games, even if the console is weaker in comparison. Maybe they can update in the future. Xbox Series S was promised to deliver an enjoyable next-gen experience at an affordable price. We have to wait and see how far will the promise deliver. Moreover, things like this also depend on the developers too.
Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon will be out on November 10, 2020, for the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. PS4 players will get a free upgrade when it releases in the PS5 on the 2nd of March 2020. Although PS5 gamers will not have the enhancement options.
Taking a different approach this time, Yakuza 7 looks promising even with the turn based gameplay. But it has fans divided.
