A potential next-gen enhancement may have been leaked on the latest Microsoft Blog post.
The latest Xbox Wire blog post revealed a UI update for Xbox One X, along with a bunch of new games on its official store’s website. The latest entries included not only Red Dead Redemption 2 and Forza Horizon 4, but also Batman: Arkham Knight which is the fourth installment of the Arkham franchise, having been released in 2015.

Although Batman: Arkham Knight is still available for grabs on Xbox Game Pass as of today, the title has still not received a next-gen enhancement. The current listing of the game shows two badges beside its title. The first badge represents the game’s availability on Xbox Game Pass, while the latter indicates a next-gen update for the Xbox Series X.
It is still unknown whether the presence of the Xbox Series X Batman: Arkham Knight upgrade in the listing was leaked accidentally or not. For all we know, it could be a mistake on Microsoft’s end. However, with that being said, the game currently runs at a mere 900p resolution. Therefore, an upgrade could very well be on its way.
Furthermore, with Gotham Knights on its way, a next-gen update for Arkham Knight will help build up the hype. We are yet to experience Batman’s journey in 4K resolution and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X Batman: Arkham Knight upgrade will bring the thrill of the caped crusader’s adventure to life. So, here is to hope Warner Bros makes an official statement regarding Batman: Arkham Knight’s next-gen enhancement soon.
