Xbox Games Showcase event date announced

Microsoft will finally be showing us the next-gen games they have in store with Xbox Games Showcase.

After much silence and slight teasings, Xbox has finally opened up about the hyped Xbox event. With almost all major developers hosting their own shows, Xbox remained the only one without any announcements.

Finally, Xbox has announced the date of the Xbox Games Showcase, which will be held on July 23rd at 9 AM PT. The announcement was given in a tweet from the official Xbox twitter.

Furthermore, Xbox Games Showcase will have a SummerGameFest preshow at 8 am PT on Youtube Gaming; A digital event that has been hosted by Geoff Keighley for some time now.

Microsoft has mostly been very low-key with their games as of yet with only a handful of trailers being shown, along with Xbox Series X; at the last Xbox event. Hence, stakes are high for Xbox. Since now, Sony along with other developers has gone all out in the bid for next-gen supremacy with their games.

They say patience is a virtue. Let’s see if Microsoft can deliver us accordingly, especially with Halo: Infinite.
