Ascent is well known to be one of the strongest maps to play as Sova. The map is open and has a huge skybox with minimal obstacles making it a playground for the aspiring Sova mains. The cheeky positions and cubbies in the game where enemies might hide can be easily be checked using Sova’s recon arrow.
VALORANT is a tactical 5v5 shooter which revolves around Agents with special abilities. In a team-based shooter like VALORANT, intel on the enemy’s whereabouts is of the utmost importance. A well-planned attack can be crippled by the simple knowledge of where the enemy is coming from. On the other hand, a strategic defense can be easily penetrated if the location of the enemies is revealed. This is where Sova comes in as he has two distinct abilities solely focused on gathering intel.
Playing on the attacker’s side if A is not rushed immediately or any vision-impairing ability is used in A lobby, a defender might use the opportunity to move into A wine. This position is quite dangerous to clear but if a specific arrow lineup is used it can easily be scanned from a safe position.

The arrow trajectory is quite unique as it bounces off from the floating structures and lands in Wine from outside the map where no one will expect it from. This is a very powerful arrow to clear Wine from a safe distance.
