A bit confused about what weapons to proceed with in V Rising? Fear not, fellow night creature. We have just the tier and the rank list of the weapons for you.
As we will encounter a variety of weapons in V Rising, we are bound to get distracted and fall into the pit of confusion. There are several gears and abilities along with weapons. Moreover, each weapon has its own ability and traits, not to miss the upgrading requirements as well.
There is also this combination duo. There will be devastating consequences if you can pair up your primary weapon with your secondary weapon based on their overall traits. Anyone who dares to stand in front of you will face devilish wrath. Well, you are a vampire, aren’t you?
I would suggest you study the weapons and other items a bit if you want to walk your path. Feel free to roam here if you need guidance. Now, this guide here is to let you know the differences between the weapons that you are going to see in V Rising. A tier list has been tried to make based on their abilities and a rank afterward. Let’s take you through this.
List of Weapons in V Rising
Let’s take you through all the weapons that you are going to see in V Rising. Shortly after that, we will jump into the tier list.
V Rising Weapon Tier List
You can go with any of these weapons. All of them are melee weapons except the Crossbow. This lad is a ranged weapon. Now, this tier list has been made for you to ease up your decision-making process. Let’s take a look at this.
|A-Tier (Good)||Spear, Ax, Mace,|
|B-Tier (Average)||Crossbows, Reaper, Slasher|
This tier has been made of weapons of devastating power. As this game is still a new addition to the market, there is a hope to see more unique weapons from time to time. Right at this moment, there wasn’t anything worthy other than the Mighty Sword in this tier list.
Sword is the perfect allrounder you will want to use in all formats. From career progress to the Massive Multiplayer arena, this lad has no issues at all. Thanks to Devs for letting us get this at the early stage of the game. The progress is much easier with this one; no lie about this.
|Primary Attack||A melee combo of 3 hits deals 35% more damage on the first and second attack and 40% more damage on the final strike.||–||0.2s|
|Whirlwind||Slice the nearby foes by spinning right round. Deals 35% more damage for every 0.25s that lasts for 1 second.||8s||Instant|
|Shockwave||Casting for the first time sends a shockwave worth 70% more damage. Recasting makes the foe teleport with 25% damage.||8s||0.6s|
This tier is mostly for secondary weapons only. In rare cases, you can sub them as primary. To be specific, these are the weapons that you want to use for every possible situation. However, a certain trait did not let that happen. These exist, fellow vampires. These do exist.
The spear is only used for combat. For the sole purpose of fighting, this lad can prove its worth during boss battles. As it has an immediate impact, foes will have a hard time standing in front of it. Moreover, the added skills are no lesser threat than the other weapons.
|Primary Attack||A melee combo of 3 hits deals 40% more damage on the first and second attack and 50% more damage on the final strike.||–||0.3s|
|A Thousand Spear||Casting for the first time, deals 30% more damage for 8 times. Recasting makes a thrust attack worth 50% more damage while knocking the foes to the backfoot.||8s||0.35s|
|Harpoon||Pulls the enemy closer after throwing a successful attack worth 70% more damage.||8s||0.8s|
This two-handed weapon might remind you of Assassins Creed; somehow, I guess. This pair doesn’t stand up for heavy damage but fills that gap with more mobility and dexterity than the others.
|Primary Attack||A melee combo of 3 hits deals 45% more damage on the first and second attack and 55% more damage on the final strike.||–||0.25s|
|Frenzy||Dash forward, and strike worth 100% more damage. Moreover, movement increases by 25%, and AP increases by 30% for 0.8s.||8s||0.3s|
|X-Strike||Throw the axes to deal 85% more damage that slowdowns the foe for 1.5s.||8s||0.5s|
This lad is slower than the others but hits harder than the others. This tank-type lad is the perfect choice as a secondary weapon, just after Ax, though. A group of foes stands no chance against this pair with an ideal combination.
|Primary Attack||A melee combo of 3 hits deals 50% more damage on the first and second attack and 60% more damage on the final strike.||–||0.35s|
|Crushing Blow||Follows the cursor and slams the ground that deals 110% worth of damage. Moreover, it imposes a snare that fades after 2s.||8s||0.7|
|Smack||Smacks foes in front and knocks them back with 50% more damage.||9s||0.35s|
No hate for these tiers. Truth be told, you will have a pretty hard time using them as subs for secondary weapons. A bit worse, I would say, from the tier above when it comes to getting the job done without sweating yourself.
Crossbows do send crosses from a distance but at what cost? The firing rate is slower, and that makes you slower. This guy has no attack combo, even though the bolts it fires deal heavy damage.
|Primary Attack||A single shot worth 115% more damage.||0.55s||1s|
|Snapshot||A quick shot worth 75% more damage.||8s||0.3s|
|Rain of Bolts||A 5 bolts volley rain downs on foes that deal 40% more damage.||8s||0.4s|
This lad is the same as Mace. Just think of the guy from the meme who is opening the bottle of champagne while standing on the 3rd podium. Reaper is that guy.
|Primary Attack||A melee combo of 3 hits deals 50% more damage on the first and second attack and 55% more damage on the final strike.||–||0.3s|
|Tendon Swing||Swinging the reaper deals 125% worth more damage and knocks the nearby enemies.||8s||0.2s|
|Howling Reaper||Throwing the reaper makes it spin right round and deals 20% more damage in every 0.25s. Moreover, it slows down the enemy.||8s||0.5s|
This dagger boy can be a choice for stealth. Deals comparatively low damage and a child’s toy in front of a herd. Well, it got more cooldown time than the other ones. What less can be the expectation?
|Primary Attack||A melee combo of 3 hits deals 27.5% more damage on the first and second attack and 35% more damage on the final strike.||0||0.15s|
|Elusive Strike||Slash and dash back and forth that deals 60% more damage||8s||0.2s|
|Camouflage||Movement speed increases by 25% for 3s. The next attack deals 80% more damage.||10s||Instant|
