Release date speculations

Ubisoft’s chief financial officer Frederick Duguet mentioned that a new Star Wars game is already in development. The game is still in the early stages of development, so it might take a while before you all get to see it. He further added that it’s way too early to give a release window, but we will see one soon.

Not to mention Star Wars Games have always brought success for EA throughout the years. A new and recent milestone of 52 million copies sold while making $3billion, no wonder they will still be making more.

Now that Ubisoft has rights to Star Wars, they want to achieve what EA has in all these years. A release date still seems far, due to the exclusivity deal of EA with Disney about Star Wars. Although, since the deal will end in 2023, we can expect it to release during that time.

They also mentioned how they saw so many people applying to work on this particular project. The developers are more than happy to see how loved this series is and how much people want to see this turn out great.
