Ubisoft is currently preparing to tease their newest game called “Hyper Scape“. The news comes from esports consultant, Rod Breslau, who received this information from a source claiming Ubisoft is expected to reveal the game today.
According to Breslau’s sources, Hyper Scape is a free-to-play FPS game set in a futuristic virtual world. The game will likely go into closed beta on PC next week and will be available for all players on July 12th. A console release is also expected to come out later this year with crossplay support enabled.
Ubisoft is reportedly working closely with Twitch on this game, as it’ll include “never seen levels of integration”. With this title, the twitch chat will be able to “directly impact the game live with game-changing events”.
Streamers will also generate extra revenue through in-extension bits purchase when viewers buy twitch bits while watching their “Hyper Space” stream.
A website for Ubisoft’s to-be-announced BR game has gone live now. The company Prisma Dimensions will most likely serve as a basis for the Hyper Scape game. Here’s how Hyper Scape was described in the website:
Prisma Dimensions is thrilled to bring you the first iteration of the Hyper Scape on July 2nd – and with it, the pulse-pounding action of Crown Rush! Get ready to drop into the neon-drenched streets of the world’s premiere virtual city, Neo Arcadia. You’ll want to hit the ground running, as you’ll need every advantage you can find to give yourself a leg up on the competition. Only the best contenders will make it to the final showdown. Will you claim victory, or fall to the perils of the Hyper Scape?
Breslau’s sources claim that the first gameplay footage will be released from an extensive list of content creators later this week. So keep an eye out for that and the official teaser from Ubisoft today. Follow us for the latest details.
