Chica posted on her Twitter account a few hours ago after receiving the news of the emotes removal. According to the post, Twitch sent her an email saying that the ChicaL emote was labeled as an insult, bullying, threatening or abusive. The exact words are,
“Hi Chica,
Based on a review of its content, we have removed your
emote “chicaL” from Twitch.
Reason: Disallowed content Targeted insults, bullying, and
threatening or inciting abuse.”
For the past year or two, Twitch has been removing all L emotes from the streaming sites. Many of Chica’s fans and followers accused Twitch of becoming soft and unnecessarily removing harmless emotes while at the same time permitting bathtub streams and adult content.
