Twistzz steps down from Team Liquid

After yesterday’s IEM Global Challenge 2020 grand final, the Canadian CSGO superstar Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken has announced that he will be playing with a new team in 2021.

Twistzz joined Team Liquid back in 2017 and became one of the key members of the roster. After being with the team for three years he decided to look for new opportunities.

It seems the Canadian pro has decided to stay inside the EU for the time being. “I’ll comment about my future soon, I hope I bring the NA support where ever I go in EU.”, he said in a tweet. Considering his performance throughout the year, he should have multiple offers to choose from.

Twistzz leaves Team Liquid

Twistzz left thanking everyone and saying those were some of the most important memories of his life. “Gg’s and congrats to @AstralisCS, no other team I’d rather play against in a final and especially my last game with @TeamLiquid, the fans and family I’ve made here over the past 3 and a half years. These are some of the most important memories of my career. Thank you all.”

According to a Rush B Media report, the organization is trying to acquire Brazillian CS:GO legend Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo to fill the last spot on the roster.

Stewie2k played alongside Fallen back in 2018. If things go well, Fallen would be playing for a non-Brazillian roster for the first time.
