The trailers so far have not provided any plot or context of what is happening. The developer also explains that this lack of info when starting the game makes the game more mysterious. Allows gamers to explore and discover for themselves. For games like this, a slow unveiling story through the mysterious game world and player exploration are what give gamers a memorable experience. Additionally, the world feels very serene and majestic. A great change of pace from all the recent chaotic action-filled AAA titles.
All in all, from what we’ve seen so far Tunic looks like it’ll turn out to be an absolute gem of a game. Especially for older gamers and retro game enthusiasts. Right now we can only wait and see what Tunic has to offer once it releases Xbox and PC. Don’t forget to play Tunic’s new demo.
