VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals is the main event comprising of the top teams from the EU, TR and CIS regions. 4,3 and 1 teams respectively will compete for the $100,000+ USD prizepool and the top 2 teams will get a chance to participate in the Global Lan event in Iceland.

This year there was the EMEA region announced which comprised of Europe, Turkey and CIS regions. They are to play under a unified region from which the top 2 teams will advance. The slot for this events are 4 for Europe, 3 for Turkey and 1 for CIS. Although 2-2 for Turkey and CIS might seem ideal, the high viewership from the Turkish region played an important role in turkey getting more slots.

Guild Esports were the runners-up of VCT EU Stage 2 Challengers 1. They defeated Alliance and NIP and went on to the finals. FunPlus Phoenix were the Champions of VCT EU Stage 2 Challengers 1. They defeated Team Vitality and Opportunists and also beat Guild Esports in the Grand Final. Fnatic has had a great run in VCT EU Stage 2 Challengers 2 so far. They defeated both G2 and Team Vitality without dropping a single map. Looks like the new transfers worked in favor of them. Finally Team Liquid managed to qualify today defeating CE calling and BDS. They now face Fnatic in the finals of VCT EU Stage 2 Challengers 2 but already got their slots for VCT EMEA Challengers Finals.

VCT EMEA Stage 2 Challengers finals are set to start on 23rd April. This is the main event to earn spots for the LAN Masters event in Iceland.
