The loving and warm 84-year-old Shirley Curry aka Skyrim Grandma can now join in on your adventures as a follower in Skyrim.
Shirley Curry aka Skyrim Grandma has become a Youtube personality with an avid following. Popular for her Skyrim gameplay videos and her warm and fuzzy personality. She quickly became well known among the Skyrim community. In fact, her Youtube channel has around 962,000 subscribers.

After Bethesda’s Pete Hines talked about how Skyrim Grandma may not be around to play Elder Scrolls 6 as the game is still far off. Fans took up the responsibility to keep her immortalized in Skyrim.
Consequently, after a successful petition, and a lot of dedication, Shirley – A Skyrim Follower mod is now available for Skyrim VR, PC, and Xbox One. Furthermore, she’s a fully fleshed-out, character with full voice acting. Voiced by none other than the Skyrim grandma, Shirley Curry.
In the game, Shirley can be found in a small home in the mountains east of Drelas’ Cottage. The companion is a two-handed barbarian and a skilled archer. Additionally, her house can also act as a player home with all the amenities. Although to get Skyrim Grandma as a follower, you have to complete a short quest.
It is heart-warming especially in these trying times to see gamers come together for such a nice gesture, and friendliness. We don’t know how much of Shirley Curry, the Skyrim Grandma we will see in the future. But from now on, she will always be on our side as a trusted companion in Skyrim.
Curry will return to Elder Scrolls 6 as an NPC. Confirmed back in 2019.
Now that Skyrim Grandma is now a part of the Elder Scrolls world, she will forever be with us. We advise all fans of the community to keep supporting her even more.
