Pac-Man 99 is a free-to-play Battle Royale made exclusively for Switch Online subscribers.
Nintendo surprised its fans and Switch users by dropping an announcement trailer for the new Pac-Man 99 for Nintendo Switch. The game is exclusively made for Switch Online Subscribers. Pac-Man 99 follows the footsteps of Tetris 99 and Super Mario Bros.35 in being a battle royale of 8-bit classic games made exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online.
The game still has its original features like chomping on pellets, running from Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde, and consuming Power Pellets to rank high scores. So, what makes Pac-Man 99 a battle royale? In Pac-Man 99, you essentially compete against other Pac-Men. In true Battle Royale fashion, one needs to survive and attack enemies to stay the last Pac-Man standing.

Each match allows up to 99 players to compete against one another. Players will need to eat power pellets to turn ghosts blue and vulnerable. In addition to eating ghosts, players will also be able to send Jammer Pac-Men towards their enemies. The more ghosts a player eats, the more Jammer Pac-men they can send.
Players can consume power pellets to swallow a train of sleeping ghosts to launch an overwhelming attack of Jammer Pac-men towards enemies. Furthermore, players can switch between eight preset strategies to gain a competitive edge.
