Team Liquid Valorant will not be going to VCT Masters Berlin

Team Liquid faced off against Team Gambit in the EMEA Challengers Playoffs lower bracket, losing the match and failing to qualify for Masters Berlin.

In VCT Stage 2, Team Liquid were the champions of VCT EMEA Stage 2 and lost in the Quarterfinals vs Fnatic. In Stage 3, they failed to qualify from EU Challengers 1 but they came back strong in EU Challengers 2 and were also the champions of that event.

In VCT Stage 3 EMEA Challengers Playoffs, they lost against NaVi in the upper bracket and got demoted to the lower bracket. Liquid made their way through the lower brackets defeating Oxygen esports and forZe 2-0. Things were looking good for them as they faced Gambit in the lower bracket round 3.

Team Gambit is a strong European team and in VCT Stage 2, they were the quarterfinalist of EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals. They lost against Fnatic and could not qualify for Masters Berlin. In Stage 3, they were the champions of CIS Stage 3 Challengers 1 and made it to the playoffs.

In VCT Stage 3 EMEA Challengers Playoffs, Gambit esports beat Guild 2-0 and lost 1-2 to Acend. Now in the Lower bracket, they face Team Liquid.

This is a huge upset from Team Liquid and just goes to show how strong the CIS Champion team is. Team Gambit is the first CIS team that will be going to VCT Masters Berlin.
