Team Liquid were the champions of VCT Stage 2 EMEA Challengers Finals. The Blue team had been struggling in the first stage of VCT but after team reforms, they are back stronger than ever and have grabbed the global spotlight. In Stage 2 Masters, they choked and lost their match against Version1. Now with a win vs KRU, they’re climbing through the lower brackets.
Team Vikings were the champions of VCT Stage 2 Brazil Challengers Finals. They have proven themselves as the strongest Valorant Team in Brazil and now they traveled to Iceland to represent their home nation on the global stage. They are the only Brazillian team left and they must beat Liquid to continue in the tournament.
The first map was Ascent picked by team Vikings. In the first half Liquid gained a substantial lead and managed to secure the victory. The second map was Haven picked by Liquid. This time the first half was competitive with Liquid inching ahead, but in the second half, liquid showed their attacking prowess and won all their rounds winning the map and the series.
Jamppi from Team Liquid stood out with the best performance with a +23 K/D and a 170.7ADR respectively.
