Team Liquid defeat Fnatic 3-2 and win the VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals

Tonight Team Liquid takes on Fnatic in the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals. Out of the three regions these two teams have qualified in the Global Lan event.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals is the main event after the three regional challengers series tournaments. Here 8 teams will fight for the €88,000EUR prize pool and two teams will qualify for the Grand event: Masters Iceland.

The first map was Haven where Fnatic held down the fort and won most of their defense rounds. On the attack, they were no slouch either as they won all their rounds and took the map. On Icebox, the first half was competitive but this time on the second half attack Team Liquid showed their prowess and won all 8 rounds back to back.
Ascent was competitive in the first half but Team Liquid came out on top in the second half. Likewise, Bind was had a close first half but had Fnatic take the map in the second half. The final map was Split where Liquid was far ahead in the attack. Fnatic tried to make a comeback in the second half but failed to win the map and the series.

ScreaM, the MVP of Week 1 had an outstanding performance today with a +15 KDR and a 157.5 ADR. But Derke from Fnatic also had the best performance of the final with a +20KDR and 146.6 ADR.
